Fic! It's what's for dinner.

Holy crap, I'm alive! Between work, fun times, fic, and watching season four of Supernatural all over again, I've been keeping sorta busy. I wanted to post the next part of the western tonight, but I'm not sure that I'll get to it, since I totally forgot about going out to dinner. I've been working on it, though, and, uh...it's been upgraded to NC-17. Because, really, how much can I write without ending up in that rating? And the chapter that I'll (eventually) be posting? There's like three different pairings/sex scenes. Sort of. I don't go into too much detail with all of them, but yeah. I'm kind of taking more time with it because of that, because I don't want it to seem too ridiculous. It's not pages and pages of porn, and it does make sense in the story, but I'm still kind of sitting here thinking, "...Is this too much? Or just really, really stupid?" So, we'll see what I end up with. It should be up somewhat soon. I hope. And once I get over that hurdle, I should be able to finish it up pretty quickly, I think.

I hope you won't mind me pimping things, but fellow writers may want to check this out. tigerstriped86 brought it to my attention, and it looks like it could be fun. I'm debating what I want to do with it still. Also, I've been extremely privileged to get a first look at and beta a phenomenal fic by dugindeep. It's so good that I'm pimping it before it's even finished. But you should really check out her LJ if you haven't already, anyway, because she's awesome and writes amazing fic. But trust me when I say that what she's writing now is going to seriously blow your mind.
