So, figures I start reviving this thing, and then my hard drive crashes. Pretty sure I've just lost all music, pics, vids, books, and WIPs on my laptop. That's more than a shitload of stuff I can't replace, have to find again, and have to rewrite. You know, whenever I get the laptop fixed/get a new computer. This is stupid. :(

Thanks, I think I can! I hope I can, anyway. It turned out to be the motherboard, and the people I talked to at Best Buy said they could probably get the data off of the hard drive for me, if it wasn't too far gone. I just need to do that and get better internet on my new computer. But I'm almost back up and running!

Thank you, bb! I might be able to, it was actually the motherboard that went, so the hard drive may be salvageable. Once I get that data back (hopefully) and a better connection, I should be back up and running!
