Warnings: Borrowing the Glory/Key concepts from Buffy, but not a true crossover; this fic assumes the show/storyline never existed, with no main Buffy characters or settings involved. Betrayal, angst, depression, violence, suicide TW, hurt!Jared, hurt!Jensen, hurt!Misha, temporary major character death. NC-17 for blowjob/handjob/frottage.
Summary: When a strange monk shows up in Jensen's trailer during the filming of season nine, he and Misha learn that Jared isn't the person they thought he was. In fact, he may not be a person at all. According to the monk, Jared was created as a vessel to protect a Key that opens gates to other dimensions. The god seeking him out poses a threat not only to Jared, but to the world. Having just crossed over from friends to something more, Jensen struggles with the fact that his first five years of memories with Jared have been implanted in his brain and goes down a dark path. Misha struggles to keep them both safe and sane during the hiatus, also putting himself in harm's way as they hide out in motel rooms, Winchester-style.

All of the thanks to my amazing artist
cherie_morte, who created so many things I never would have even thought of in the first place and was nice enough to also beta for me! You're a freakin' champ, and I super appreciate the love, the attention to detail, and the rush today. We have icons! XD I am in love with this art set and so thankful that we were paired together. And many, many thanks to
wind_storms, who gave me a second round of beta, was an amazing cheerleader, and convinced me to sign up for this challenge and finally finish this fic!
